Middle & High School | 6th - 12th
Middle School Confirmation Classes
Students may register for Confirmation classes if they are Baptized and:
- are in 6th to 8th grade (Middle School) and in their 2nd year of preparation to receive the sacraments of First Eucharist and/or Confirmation.
- Tuesday evenings from 6:15 – 7:45 PM
- Youth Center (the “old convent”). Enter through the back door.
We will NOT accept Registrations without a copy of the child’s Baptism certificate.
Middle School Crossover Classes
Crossover classes aim to empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ in our world today.
Crossover is for Baptized Catholic youth from 6th to 8th grade (Middle School) in their 1st year of preparation for Confirmation class, or who have received all their sacraments but are continuing their catechesis in the Catholic faith.

Young Disciple
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:14-16
What is Young Disciple?
Students must be in 7th or 8th grade, Confirmed and attend Mass every Sunday.
Expectations: Be Registered and Attend Wednesday night Crossover class to continue learning about the Catholic faith. You may also be asked to assist in teaching in one of these classes. If you have been scheduled to assist in a class and you can not attend a specific night, *you must call Nancy to tell her.
Being Responsible is a Big Part of becoming a good Leader.
High School Confirmation Classes
Students in 9th through 12th grade (High School) may register for Confirmation classes and:
- in their 1st or 2nd year preparing to receive the sacraments of First Eucharist and/or Confirmation
- OR who have received all their sacraments but are continuing their catechesis in the Catholic faith
- Wednesday evenings from 6:15 – 7:45 PM
- Youth Center (the “old convent”). Enter through the back door.
We will NOT accept Registrations without a copy of the child’s Baptism certificate.
Other Requirements
Parents are required to take 15 adult classes and one retreat per year.
Young Apostle
“No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead he puts it on the lamp stand, where it gives light for everyone in the house.” Matthew 5:14
What is Young Apostle (YA)?
This program offers youth the opportunity to grow in their faith by serving younger youth. It offers many opportunities to work with the youth groups, lead small groups, help plan and organize special events, plan and perform in skits and other fun activities.
Students must be in 9th through 12th grade, confirmed and attend Mass every Sunday.
Besides your regular night teaching or assisting in teaching, ALL Young Apostle’s are expected to come to class/Discipleship/High School. If you are unable to attend, please contact Nancy Luensmann.
Discipleship
Discipleship aims to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.
As our young people prepare to enter the world of higher education and discern God’s plan for their lives, we offer a healthy environment and an opportunity for serious discussion. Discipleship is for High School Youth who are:
- in 9th through 12 grade
- in their 1st year preparing for First Eucharist and or Confirmation
- OR students who have received all their sacraments but are continuing their catechesis in the Catholic faith
YA’s who are in High School, must attend.Â
Print, fill out and bring to church office with payment. You can also pick up a registration form at the church office.
