Faith Formation

Elementary K-5th Grade

According to the Restored Order, Baptized Catholic Children will typically begin preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Eucharist in the second grade.  A minimum of 2 years of Faith Formation classes must be completed prior to receiving these Sacraments.

If your child is receiving a Sacrament at Holy Trinity,  you the parent or guardian, must attend 7 adult classes and one retreat within the year of child’s sacramental preparation.

Holy Trinity offers 2 options for kindergarten through 5th grade children of registered parishioners:

  • Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 PM
  • Sunday afternoon from 2:30 – 4:00 PM

Baptism

Non-baptized children 8 – 14 years of age, or children Baptized in a non-Catholic church, must complete the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC).

  • Classes are typically Wednesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
  • At least one parent MUST attend R.C.I.A.
