GRATITUDE & COMMITTMENT
2021 BEAUTIFICATION OF THE CHURCH
GRATITUDE AND HOPE

Steve and Cindy Vega
We became involved with Holy Trinity when our children were students at the school back in the late 1980's and became more active members in the late 1990's, about the time Fr. Hilton became pastor and through the inspiration of the many wonderful priests who have followed. From that time to the present, we have been actively involved in a number of ministries within the parish. We are so grateful for the graces we have received throughout the years at Holy Trinity and look forward to many more.

We joined Holy Trinity at the onset of COVID because the parish’s emphasis on the Eucharist aligned with our values. We immediately found a community of wonderful, reverent Catholic families and quickly felt at home. We are deeply grateful for how this parish extended our family, and Father Daniel and Father Blaise’s dedication to strengthening both physical and spiritual foundations fills us with hope for the future.

Our experience at Holy Trinity has been truly beautiful. We began attending Mass here in 2002 and 2003, respectively, and it was in 2003 that we met at the parish. Holy Trinity has been the place where our daughters were raised and where they received their sacraments of initiation. We are deeply grateful for the ministry of the many priests who have guided and inspired us over the years, and we trust that God will continue to bless our parish in the years to come.

OUR CREST
Holy Trinity’s new logo is a crest that expresses who we are as a parish.
The main element is the presence of three crosses representing the Most Holy Trinity. The three crosses are the same in shape (the Trinity is one God) but different in color (there are three different Persons in the Trinity).
The chevron in the middle is a heraldic symbol of protection and service, as it resembles the roof of a house. It also connotes military prowess. It makes us think about our parish as our home and as the place from where we going out to share God’s love with the world. The shape of the chevron also points toward the mountains of Colorado.
The colors of the chevron are blue, red, and yellow. Blue is the color of divinity; red, the color of humanity; yellow (or gold) the color of glory. We see here a reference to the Father (blue), the Son (red), and the Holy Spirit (gold). These are also colors of the Colorado flag.
The light blue star symbolizes Holy Mary, Star of the Sea, who guides us towards the love of the Most Holy Trinity.
